Dan Brookes - Principal and Acting Tutor

  • Involved in theatre for many years, both in this area and in London.
  • Trained at Guildford School of Acting. Works professionally as an actor and director.
  • Runs CBW Academy and Youth Theatre.
  • Taught drama in a number of different schools, workshops and term long courses.
  • Taught for a number of Stagecoach Schools and other weekend drama training courses.
  • Teaches at Simply Theatre Academy in Geneva two days a week.


Emma Richardson - Dance Teacher and Mini's Teacher

  • Dancing since an early age in both her local society and later in others around Middlesbrough and North Yorkshire area.
  • Trained at Christine Henderson School of Dance and GSA Saturday School.
  • Choreographs for a number of local companies including being resident choreographer at CBW Youth Theatre.
  • She is a Primary school teacher and the main CBW Academy 'Minis' teacher.

Welcome to Crash Bang Wallop Theatre Company. We are based in North Yorkshire and Middlesbrough, and teach workshops to schools on all areas of Drama, Dance and Singing all over the country. We also tour shows to local primary and secondary schools themed to fit with the current curriculums.
