Drama School Preparation and Audition Technique


Drama School PreparationThis course is designed for 16 to 20 year olds who are thinking about going on to study drama at university or drama school. The course runs from Sept to April. It will equip you with the skills to do your best in auditions as well as giving you the information to make an informed decision between drama school or university drama. The course is run by Dan Brookes.

The course is designed to maximize your chances of getting into drama school. You will learn how to audition from someone who has been there and knows the tricks. You will also learn what the panels are actually looking for. You will discover which schools are right for you and when is best to apply. You will have mock first and recall auditions and find out what it is you need to work on. By working with the same group of people each fortnight, you will be able to share audition experiences and pool resources to help each other.

Drama School Preparation

When: Mondays - Sept to April, 8pm till 10pm every fortnight

Where: CBW Theatre Studios, TS9 7AE

Age Range: 16 years of age upwards
